| What kind of teacher am I?
Although I love performing on stage, teaching is a real vocation for me. My students know me as a demanding but encouraging and friendly teacher, who has much to give to students of all levels. Besides teaching choreographies, I emphasize performing skills and expression, which are based on solid basic technique.
My repertoire includes both different Egyptian folkloric styles and traditional as well as modern Oriental dance. I master all commonly known Egyptian folk dances, from Saidi to Alexandrian, Nubian to Fellahi, and naturally Simsimiyya, which is in my blood as I have danced it since my childhood in my hometown Suez.

I am currently based in Helsinki, Finland, where I teach weekly classes and workshops.
