Workshop
of Oriental Dance in Cairo

Four
days of intensive dancing in the heart of Oriental dance in an
international atmosphere. Beside dance classes, you’ll have time
to experience Cairo: shop in its bazars and modern commercial
centres, make a tour to the pyramids and museums, see nightclubs and
dance shows, visit mosques and walk in the narow alleys.
The
workshop will be conducted in Studio Emad Eldin in the very centre
of Cairo. The workshop is planned to suite students of all levels,
except absolute beginners.
Tuija
teaches a compact technique package “From the essential movements
to comprehensive body expression”, including a little dance.
Hosseny works on one or two choreographies, in the very
characteristic Hosseny-style, of course!
Tabla
playing classes and classes of Arabic language will be arranged upon
request.
Price:
120 €/all dance classes 12 h, single classes 15 €/hour. Tabla and
Arabic classes paid separately, the price will depend on the size of
the group.
On
Friday 22.2. we will organize a full-day trip to Suez, we’ll have
a seafood lunch and participate in a
simsimiyya party with El Bahhara orchestra.
The
price of the trip is 50 € (including transportation by bus, lunch
and the simsimiyya party, not including drinks).

When
booking, tell us whether you will participate in all dance classes,
and if you are interested in tabla or Arabic language classes, and
also if you will participate in the Suez trip. Tell us also if you
want us to make a reservation for you at a hotel.
